The memorial was dedicated on the 22nd May at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas Staffs.by the Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire and former British Rail chairman Sir Bob Reid II.
The British Transport Pensioners Federation (BTPF) played a key role in raising the £50,000 to create the Railway Industry Memorial.
